New mini-greenhouse experiment in progress

A new experiment is in progress in the framework of the AgriTexSil project. The aim of the experiment is the evaluation of a silica-coated insect-proof net for the control of Aphis fabae, Sitophilus oryzae, and Tribolium confusum. The irrigation system has, already, been installed, and the transplantation of the tomato plants has, also, been completed.   Photo Gallery

The publication of the UTH team at “Nanomaterials”

We are glad to announce the second publication of the UTH (University of Thessaly) team at the “Nanomaterials” Journal. The title of the article is: “Evaluation of Silica-Coated Insect Proof Nets for the Control of Aphis fabae, Sitophilus oryzae, and Tribolium confusum” and will be included at Volume 10 of the “Nanomaterials” Journal. Subsonic open type tunnel measurements

In the framework of the AgriTexSil project, a series of measurements in a subsonic open-type tunnel was carried out, with the purpose of the determination of the aerodynamic characteristics of a series of nets.
